God is Still on the Throne
For many, the past few years have been hard. It feels as if God has forgotten about you. For some, those unanswered prayers are simply a promise or a vision. For others, they are waiting on God to provide their basic needs: a home, clothing, shelter, and freedom. However, despite what we are experiencing, it’s important we remember that God is still on the throne.
God is Still on the Throne Despite Abuse
Today, there’s a young person entangled in an undesired lifestyle, subjected to violations beyond their consent. Despite fervent prayers, the torment persists. To those enduring such hardships, persevere in prayer. God is not asleep; He hears you and will deliver you.
God is Still on the Throne Despite Loneliness
Today, there is a Ruth who is waiting on her Boaz. She has trusted God with everything, but still, it seems as if God is silent. Daughter of a King, trust that what God has in store for you is greater than anything you could ever imagine. It’s his greatest love story yet!
God is Still on the Throne Despite Trials and Tribulations
Someone faces imprisonment today, perhaps feeling weak. Remember, even in the depths of weakness, God remains present. Remember, Moses, a man who committed murder, found redemption to lead God’s people. Paul, once captive, authored much of the New Testament, influencing generations. Joseph, falsely imprisoned, became the savior of a nation.
Others stand on the precipice of financial ruin, unable to discern a way forward. Know that God is the author and the finisher of your faith. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5). If God did it before, he can do it again. God is not a one-hit wonder.
In the darkest hour, someone contemplates ending his or her life, seeking a sign from God. Let this message be that sign. God hasn’t forgotten you; He knows you intimately, with your name inscribed in His palms. He will carry you through pain, restoring your days with joy and laughter. He misses the melody of your laughter and yearns to see your heart smile.
God’s Promise to Experience Goodness in the Land of the Living
Psalm 27:13 resonates as a divine acknowledgment that we crave and need to witness God’s Word manifest in the land of the living. This verse reassures us: God’s goodness is not confined to heaven but extends to Earth. It reminds us that if we keep believing, we will witness God’s goodness in the land of the living. Furthermore, we can and will experience His best if we don’t lose faith, for He has not abandoned us.
