8 Reminders Why Who God blesses, No Man Can Curse

The following eight visual reminders are summaries from our previous post, No One Can Curse What God Has Blessed. I hope these illustrations will remind you that no one can alter what God has set apart for you. In fact, God has already preordained the blessings in your life.  With confidence, you can say that “who God blesses, no man can curse.”

8 Reminders Why Who God blesses, No Man Can Curse

1.

James 1:17:

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows, (NIV).

2.

Numbers 23:19-20:

God is not human, that he should lie,
not a human being, that he should change his mind.
Does he speak and then not act?
Does he promise and not fulfill?
20 I have received a command to bless;
he has blessed, and I cannot change it, (NIV).

3.

Ezekiel 12:28:

Therefore say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: None of my words will be delayed any longer; whatever I say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign LORD,’ (NIV).

4.

Matthew 24:35:

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away, (NIV).

5.

Numbers 22:21-23:

21 Balaam got up in the morning, saddled his donkey and went with the Moabite officials. 22 But God was very angry when he went, and the angel of the Lord stood in the road to oppose him. Balaam was riding on his donkey, and his two servants were with him. 23 When the donkey saw the angel of the Lordstanding in the road with a drawn sword in his hand, it turned off the road into a field. Balaam beat it to get it back on the road, (NIV).

6.

Jeremiah 1:11-12:

11 The word of the Lord came to me: “What do you see, Jeremiah?”

“I see the branch of an almond tree,” I replied.

12 The Lord said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled,” (NIV).

7.

Numbers 22: 31-32:

31 Then the Lord opened Balaam’s eyes, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the road with his sword drawn. So he bowed low and fell facedown.

32 The angel of the Lord asked him, “Why have you beaten your donkey these three times? I have come here to oppose you because your path is a reckless one before me. 33 The donkey saw me and turned away from me these three times. If it had not turned away, I would certainly have killed you by now, but I would have spared it,” (NIV)

8.

Acts 5: 38-39:

38 Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. 39 But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God,” (NIV).
